His story “The Calorie Man” won the Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Award, and his acclaimed first novel The Windup Girl won the Hugo, the Nebula, and the John W. Campbell Memorial awards. His other novels include Ship Breaker and The Drowned Cities, The Doubt Factory, and Zombie Baseball Beatdown. His most recent novel is The Water Knife.
